Wakefield Grammar School Foundation has an opportunity for a full time enthusiastic, inspiring and qualified teacher of Mathematics for either a January 2026 or Easter 2026 start.
You will be highly qualified, enthusiastic, innovative, and highly committed: an able communicator, with a positive, encouraging, and collaborative style that can enrich the work of this successful department. You will have the ability to inspire both students and colleagues, so that the mathematical culture in the school is a truly exciting one. You will be involved in the teaching of Mathematics throughout the school as well as contribute to a stimulating, tolerant, and supportive environment that can engender the highest levels of achievement.
There is also substantial scope for involvement in related enrichment programmes. Our teachers have a strong sense of community and enthusiasm and in which involvement, pastorally, and in the extensive broader curriculum, is the norm.
The Mathematics Department celebrates strong examination results at both GCSE and A level.
The department has dedicated classrooms all with interactive whiteboards alongside access to many specialised resources. We deliver our curriculum in small classes, have high standards of student behaviour and strong parental support.
Consideration will be given to both full time and part time applications.
